Overview

The AutoAdvise Zoom integration connects your Zoom account with AutoAdvise to:

- Schedule Zoom meetings directly from AutoAdvise when booking client appointments

- Retrieve cloud recordings automatically for transcription

- Generate AI transcripts with speaker identification

- Create meeting summaries and extract action items automatically

Getting Started

Prerequisites

- Active AutoAdvise account

- Zoom account (Free, Pro, Business, or Enterprise)

- Cloud recording enabled (required for transcription features)

Adding the Integration

You can connect Zoom in two ways:

Option 1: From Getting Started Page

1. When you first log into AutoAdvise, you'll see a Getting Started guide

2. Click "Connect Zoom" in the integrations section

3. Follow the authorization flow

Option 2: From Settings

1. Go to SettingsIntegrations

2. Click "Manage Connected Accounts"

3. Follow the authorization flow

Connecting Zoom

Authorization Process

1. Click to connect Zoom from either the Getting Started page or Settings

2. You'll be redirected to Zoom's authorization page

3. Review the requested permissions:

- View user information

- View and manage meetings

- View cloud recordings

4. Click "Authorize"

5. You'll be redirected back to AutoAdvise

Note: AutoAdvise uses OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication. Your Zoom password is never shared with AutoAdvise.

Using the Zoom Integration

Creating Meetings with Zoom

1. Navigate to a client in AutoAdvise

2. Go to the Meetings tab

3. Click "Create New Meeting"

4. Fill in meeting details (title, date, time, duration)

5. Under "Video Provider", select Zoom

6. Click "Create Meeting"

The Zoom meeting is automatically created and the join link is added to your meeting record.

Importing Recordings

1. Record your Zoom meeting to the cloud (not local)

2. Wait 5-10 minutes after the meeting ends for Zoom to process the recording

3. In AutoAdvise, navigate to the meeting record

4. Click "Import Recording" or "Check for Recordings"

5. Select the recording and click "Import & Transcribe"

Note: Transcription typically takes 1-2x the recording length to process.

Viewing Transcripts

Once processing is complete, you'll have access to:

- Full transcript with timestamps

- Speaker identification

- AI-generated summary

- Extracted action items

- Key topics discussed

Disconnecting Zoom

To disconnect your Zoom account from AutoAdvise, contact our support team:

Email: support@autoadvise.co.ukHours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM GMTResponse Time: Within 24 business hours

Please include:

- Your AutoAdvise account email

- Confirmation that you want to disconnect Zoom

What Happens When You Disconnect

Will:

- Remove AutoAdvise's access to your Zoom account

- Prevent creation of new Zoom meetings from AutoAdvise

- Disable automatic recording imports

Will NOT:

- Delete your AutoAdvise account or meeting data

- Delete previously imported transcripts

- Cancel existing Zoom meetings

Alternative: Revoke in Zoom

You can immediately revoke access from your Zoom account:

1. Log into zoom.us

2. Go to ProfileSettingsInstalled Apps

3. Find AutoAdvise and click "Remove"
